Sept 22nd, 2007: Ren Faire - Week 5
The Pittsburgh Ren Faire is almost over and the last few weeks have gone over in a complete blur of activity. This last weekend was fantastic and it was great getting to meet everyone who stopped by the booth! I've gots lost more great vendors to give props to as well! M. Sotherden Art Glass makes some wonderful stained glass artwork. We have been fortunate enough get to spend some time talking to her over the last few weekends, and were even luckier to get one of her fantastic moon hangings. So very very pretty! Plus, another local artisan Shananigens In Leather. They're out of Monroeville PA and do some damn fine leather.

Sept 3rd, 2007: Ren Faire - Week 2
We're now a third of the way through the faire and its been a blast so far. I've been making up a horde of new items as well, including a set of Bolos for one of the guys up at Catskill Mountain Moccassins. I've also made a variety of multi-colored balls, and some new sun catchers. The spider web is particularly cool. After this weekend I plan on putting up pictures of all of these and more.August 25th, 2007: Ren Faire - Week 1
HUZAAAAH!!! We had a great time at the faire today. If you live in the Pittsburgh area and haven't already been to it, GO! Well worth it indeed. Met a lot of great new people there today, and its great to have the faire back up and running once again. Porter and Stout are back, so many a good song to be heard. Griffin Leather works is back, they do fantastic work, I'm a very big fan. Laurel Mountain Soaps is there too, and they make the best soap we've ever used. Plus I had the pleasure of meeting some new (to me) local chainmail artists, Rabbit Dance Designs who do some really awsome work, and they were really cool people. I'm going to enjoy getting to talk them throughout the show.
