Just got back from SalonCon '08 and it was fantastic! we had a wonderful time and for a first introduction to the Steampunk culture on a tangible level, I find myself thoroughly hooked. Plus Abney Park was there and they were fantastic, I can not praise them enough. Their music is fantastic, they are wonderful artists, and superb performers. And even better, my better half got to go on stage to help hold Nathan's most beautifully constructed violin, it was most thrilling.
